I read that some people were having problems with cracking when they were making horns from Model Magic clay. This is because you were probably laying the horns down on a flat surface to dry. The side on the table dries at a slower pace than the exposed clay which causes the cracking. Just a tip: to prevent this, keep rotating the horns while they dry. For short horns like Karkat’s, rotate between laying them on their side and on their base, and for long horns like Gamzee’s, rotate from one side to the other.
